An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage European sterling silver Hanukkiah; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection This exceptional vintage sterling silver hanukkiah* has circular rounded capitals onto a baluster-shaped column and square shaped foot. This vintage candelabrum features nine imposing scrolling leaf arms (labra), four to either side of the column and one perpendicular. The circular rounded capitals are encompassed with a textured finish accented with embossed decorated floral designs; the four capitals to either side of the column are conjoined with scrolling leaf designs to the lower portion. The perpendicular, ninth candle holder features a peg to the lower portion and conjoins with the upper portion of the column. The impressive baluster shaped column is embellished with further embossed leaf ornamentation, continuing to the square shaped base. This exceptional vintage candelabrum is supported by four impressive leaf decorated feet. This exceptional vintage silver hanukkiah does not have a weighted base. NOTE: * This hanukkiah is lit during the eight-day holiday of Hanukkah. The ninth holder is called the shamash and is used to light the other eight during the celebrations. Condition This vintage sterling silver hanukkiah is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The embossed decoration is all very sharp. The ST925 hallmark struck to the surface of the base is very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of vintage silverware.
