Antique Chinese Export Silver Vases by Wang Hing & Co

About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Chinese export silver vases; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection These impressive antique Chinese Export silver vases have a circular rounded, waisted form. The surface of each vase is embellished with fine and impressive applied bamboo stalk designs. Each vase features a protruding crimped, undulating border to the upper rim. The lower portion of each vase has a plain circular knop to a plain spreading foot. The hallmarks struck to the base of each impressive antique vase include: Maker's mark: WH (Wang Hing & Co.) Silver quality/purity mark: 90 (90 standard, 900/1000) Character mark: Untraced Condition These antique Chinese vases are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The applied decoration is all very sharp. The Chinese hallmarks struck to the surface of each foot are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of thee fine examples of antique Chinese silverware. This exceptional Chinese Export Silver bowl has a plain circular form onto a plain circular swept, spreading foot. The body of this antique Asian silver bowl is embellished with chased traditional oriental chrysanthemum floral and foliate designs, all on a matte background. The decoration to the body incorporates a large shield shaped vacant cartouche to one side.
