About

An impressive, Mid-Century bottle vase, design attributed to Memphis founder Ettore Sottsass (1917-2007) for Bitossi Ceramics and imported by Raymor. This design is from the Rochetto series, 1955-1959. Decorated with bands of richly-colored matte and gloss glazes combined with opaque white craquelling and a granular lava-like glaze. A beautiful, bright example of Sottsass' ceramics from this series.
Original Raymor label marked 2620 BIT, 1391 A.
