About the Item

A set of four antique English flow blue saucers or bread plates. This lovely set by Sampson Hancock & Sons will be the perfect addition to a tea set, or even beautifully displayed on a wall or in a china cabinet. Each plate is round with scalloped edges. The center of each dish is decorated with an English country scene. The edges and rim feature a blue floral bouquet and garland design. Near each scallop on the edge, are raised dots all around the perimeter. This set was created in the late 1800's to early 1900's. We'd love to see this set mixed with other flow blue pieces for an eclectic yet curated look. For other pieces that would complement this set, please message us and we will happily offer a few suggestions! Bottom reads in Blue: Valencia Opaque China SH & S.
