About the Item

Rare antique Palissy majolica teapot with sinuous snake spout and curling tail handle. The snake emitting from a leafy cabbage head and surmounted on a round tiered base. Made in Portugal. Dimensions: 10 1/4" L x 5 3/4" W x 7 1/8" H Condition: Please see detail photos. Signs of age include a missing lid, large losses to leaves, chips to edges of leaves, few saved fragments included, finely crazed throughout.
