About the Item

Ceramic tile from the "Geo" series, design Lodovico Asirelli for Iris Ceramica, with a press relief design, glazed in matt white with an "orange peel" effect finish, produced in the 1970s. The decoration is central with a circle inside of which geometric shapes are shaped in bas-relief, giving distinctiveness and light. The tile has been framed to preserve its condition. Lodovico Asirelli received the Gold Medal of the President of the Senate, at the XXIX Faenza International Exhibition, thanks to another series of tiles, also produced by Iris Ceramica and in 2005 he is awarded the oscar for "design ceramics" presented to him in Faenza at the Palazzo delle esposizioni by ISA "Bellardini" Director Prof. Rolando Giovannini. It will be shipped in its aluminum frame as pictured, 42 x 42 cm Permanently exhibited at the Museum of Ceramics in Faenza and published in the most important books in the field.
