Ceramic Vase by Paul Quéré from 1960

About the Item

French painter, ceramist and poet, Paul Quere worked as a potter throughout his career, first in Provence, then in Brittany, in his “poetry” in Ploneour-Lanvern (Finistère). His passion and talent as a ceramist were quite remarkable, this is why with his wife Ariane Mathieu they created and distributed under the name of the Le Minotaure AQ workshop in the 1960s. This enameled ceramic vase decorated with polychrome geometric patterns on a gray background is a very poetic work by this couple of ceramists. Signed under the base.
