Exceptional Set of 1890s White Faïence Plates with Black Designs

Superbly elegant set of 9 white faïencerie plates from the 1890s depicting major French battle scenes of the late 18th and early 19th century. The items are beautifully painted with stamped black designs based on a "gravure", with text below the images mentioning the event and its date. One plate has a small crack, the others are in very good condition. Brand stamped on the bottom: Keramis B.F. (Boch Frères), made in Belgium.
