About the Item
Rare and delicate Goldscheider Art Déco ceramic figurine of the 1930s:
Elegant young lady in a red off-the-shoulder trouser costume with red polka dots and a large hat on her blond curly hair posing in a boat, at her feet a white and black pied fox terrier leaning curiously with its front paws on the edge of the boat.
Artist's signature 'Dakon' on the underside and on the side of the boat at the back.
Designed by Stephan DAKON (1904 - 1992), was one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
This Model 7364 was created circa 1935.
