This hand built ceramic bottle is crafted from a heavily grogged dark stoneware and finished with a poured white crackle glaze. Each form is shaped slowly and intuitively by hand, resulting in subtle asymmetries and bold surface contrasts. The textural quality of the glaze—fired to create a cracked, molten-like finish—interacts with the raw clay body in a way that suggests geological processes, such as erosion, fossilization, or the cooling of lava.
No two pieces are alike; each carries a unique rhythm in form and surface. The dark, matte base and glazed ridges give the set a tactile presence that invites close inspection.
