- 18th Century Dutch Delft Shaped Chinoiserie Polychrome PlaqueLocated in Downingtown, PADutch Delft shaped Chinoiserie Polychrome plaque, Circa 1730-40 The shaped plaque has a raised molded border decorated with a series of alternating painted panels of flowers and Chinese auspicious objects. The central scene is painted with a slightly off-center table with a vase filled with flowers and a large parrot perched on the branches. Several flying bugs can be seen around the flowers. To the left is a gardener with two watering pots at his feet. The whole in a puce, yellow and green palette. The top is surmounted with a blue shell pierced with a suspension hole.
