Lovely purple Studio Pottery ceramic handmade hot chocolate set includes one pitcher and four cups. Beautiful age-appropriate condition with no chips, cracks, or chiggers that we have seen. Please see photos, circa 2001. Note: Shipping is possible via parcel which may reduce shipping costs. Honestly, is there anything more comforting than sitting in front of a fireplace curled up in your favorite blanket and sharing a cup of hot chocolate with the one you love?? We think not…UNLESS of course your hot chocolate set is as mesmerizing as this one! It is signed Powell ’01 on the base and it is beautifully handmade of ceramic and glazed a sultry purple with a magnificent dragonfly motif on the side of the pitcher. Dragonflies signify a path to new worlds…they are about transformation and change in perspective, energy, maturity, depth, potential, power, and poise. This set has an inspirational vibe that just makes you feel peaceful and ready to pour a cup of your favorite beverage. Not a fan of hot chocolate? Not a problem! This is a marvelous vintage Vega Pottery coffee service set Made in Ecuador by famed ceramist Eduardo Vega including 1 coffee pot with a removeable lid, 1 creamer, and 5 cups. Each incredible piece is intricately hand painted and enameled bearing wonderful geometric shapes and patterns composed in beautiful colors of pink, lavender, brown, & burgundy with black speckled lines between, and white inner linings. The base and handle on each piece wears a lovely metallic luster glaze and this set is fully functional & ready to serve up a warm cup of joe in magnificent Modern style!! We believe that these beauties deserve a nice gentle hand-washing so we don’t recommend placing them in the dishwasher, besides… that’s no way to treat a creation of such elegance!! This is an impressive way to serve hot tea, hot cocoa, warm cider, or beverage of your choice to friends & family or place among other fabulous dishware at your breakfast nook, brunch table, or coffee bar for that stunning pop of color!
