Signed Vintage Royal Copenhagen Hand Painted Purple, Blue Ceramic Bowl Or Tray

About the Item

This vintage hallmarked hand painted glazed faience ceramic bowl , dish and or tray is from the 60's and was manufactured by Royal Copenhagen from Denmark. This was a craft known by many but mastered by few in the hand painting of these porcelain bowls. The hallmarks on the back are plentiful. it is marked Royal Copenhagen Denmark 412/28883 MJ being the artist. The artist is Marianne Johanson who hand painted this ceramic bowl. Colors range from shades of cerulean to light turquoise blue to purple to green with abstract designs to draw you in. This a a beautiful small ceramic bowl for so many uses.
