This is a tall vintage decorative jug. A German, ceramic lava pattern serving ewer or vase, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970. A bold, vibrant jug with an appropriately late 20th century taste Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order Mottled ceramic ground in bright amber hues Darker decorative bands contrast against the ribbed form Shaped pouring handle unites the tapering neck to the body Accentuated around the circumference with lozenge patterns Marks to base read 'W. Germany' and a pattern number of 429-49 This is a distinctive vintage decorative jug, with appealing late 20th century colour. Delivered polished and ready to display.
