About the Item

This is a set of four luncheon plates, 9.5”, five cups and saucers, 6.25”, and three bread and butter plates, 6.5”. Created in California by Franciscan. This set is called "Ivy". with an ivory background, the green Ivy around the plate. Backstamp style: The specific style of the backstamp shown in the image, with "Franciscan Ware" and "Made in California U.S.A.", is characteristic of pieces made in the early 1950s. This particular mark is associated with the period between 1949 and 1953. The Franciscan Earthenware with the "50-69" mark was produced between 1950 and 1969. Hand Decorated, Gladding Mc Bean & Co, Oven Safe. Perfect for addition to anyone's collections or even replace a broken piece.
