Vintage hand painted cream white and brown ceramic vase, made in italy, 1970s

About the Item

Italian Ceramic Scuptural Vase Offered for sale is a vintage ceramic vase, in the shape of a stepped sphere. Based on its style, finishing and preservation state, it likely dates back to the early 1970s. Its irregular shape clearly shows it's been hand manufactured, and it's been as well hand painted: the brown dots pattern over the main cream white layer is carefully realised but also visibly uneven. The vase has no attribution marks, engravings or labels, but is nevertheless a really nice example of the 1970s design aestethic. It is preserved in pristine conditions, with virtually no signs of age, and will look great in any contemporary interior - better if one finished off in neutral, earthy tones.
