About the Item

These are believed to be by Boston & Sandwich spool stem goblets, blown between 1870 & 1887, which were individually hand engraved by Cape Cod glass men descended from the highly skilled German engravers that old Deming Jarves imported to work in his factory. Each glass goblet shows small differences, as each engraver interpreted the highly complex Bee & Wheat pattern, so no two are engraved exactly alike.” There are 5 of one size measuring 5 3/8" high, 2 1/2" round at base, 2 1/4" at lip 2 have a wider lip. They measure 5 1/4" high, 2 1/2" at base and 2 5/8" at lip. These 2 have a slightly different pattern than the other 5.
