Antique Bohemian Amber Cut to Clear Goblet Styled Covered Crystal Compote

About the Item

This cut crystal covered goblet styled compote is unsigned, but presumed to have been made in the region of Bohemia, likely the Czech Republic in approximately 1920. The compote features the use of amber and blue glass which has been very nicely wheel cut in various facets and showcases small oval panels. Each blue panel portrays a game animal albeit a deer, rabbit or fowl. The handle is done in geometrically cut amber glass, which is contrasted in the block cut style of the base.
