Sophisticated Mid-Century Modern Sunburst Etched Crystal Serving Plate

About the Item

This sophisticated serving plate was realized in the United States, circa 1960. It features a sunburst pattern emanating from the center. The bottom has been incised with deep channels, which create myriad pentagonal forms circumscribing the perimeter of the piece. The plate gently lifts towards its edges, refracting light in a sunburst design onto whatever surface its graces. With its clean lines and austere design, this represents a beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern design. It is as versatile as it is aesthetically pleasing. It would be an excellent addition to a kitchen counter, dining or occasional table in practically any style of interior from classic midcentury to contemporary. Inscribed on the bottom "AC." Excellent condition. American, circa 1960 Dimensions: 1.5" height X 11.5" diameter.
