Unusual pair of large cut glass serving dishes, circa 1920's. They have scalloped edges surrounding a wonderful pattern, almost like a fan with a central starburst design and similar design at the end of each "fan blade". Very heavy weight and lovely proportions for any table.

First produced in 1907 by the American silversmith company, Reed & Barton, this pair of sterling silver platters has repousse fruit motifs. Repousse is a metalwork technique where the verso (back) side is hammered to produce low relief images that can be seen when viewing the front.
