This is a vintage locking Tantalus. An English, oak and crystal glass 3-decanter caddy in Victorian revival taste, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1960. Appealing revival taste, ideal for the dining room or cocktail bar Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout Oak stocks present rich caramel hues and fine grain interest Dressed with brass finial and drop handles to either side Three quality crystal glass decanters sit neatly within the compartments Front bar with inset, brass lined lock — in working order, key present Each compartment dressed with thick, suede leather cushions Protective green baize to the base for reassurance atop fine sideboards Superb faceted ball stoppers sit neatly within each decanter Charming ceramic drinks labels for Brandy, Gin and Whisky respectively Diamond cut patterns gracefully accentuate the robust, sparkling glass Presented in good original order, some light residue to the gin bottle This is a delightful vintage locking Tantalus, with an appealing Victorian revival taste and quality decanters.
