Delft talking plate with on the front the words: "Ziet wat hier van agteren staat" (See what is written on my back) And on the backside: "Bidt voor gij eeten gaat" (Pray before you start to eat). In the Dutch words it rhymes... Foliage scrolls decoration along the text and rim. Very good condition: usual minor glaze wear to the rim
