Early 20th Century French Hand Painted Faience Coffee Set from Blois
About the Item
Serve coffee or tea in this elegant faience coffee set. Crafted in Blois, France circa 1920, the set includes a large oval tray, two cups with saucers, a cream pitcher, a sugar bowl with top, and a coffeepot with lid, (ten items total). Every piece is hand painted with traditional decor of flowers and leaves in the blue, white, green and orange palette. The set is further embellished with a coat of arms, crown and crest with swan in the center. The complete set is in excellent condition and signed “Blois” on the bottom. (City in the Loire Valley).
