Hispano Moresque Lustreware Dish - 16th century, Manises
About the Item
late 16th century Hispano-Moresque lusterware charger decorated with stylized floral motifs.
The tin-glazed lusterware shows the passing of Islamic artistic influence into Christian Spain.
In good antique condition with wear to the glaze particularly on the central boss, two hairlines of ca 8 cm off which one is secured with a rivet, some larger chips to the rim filled up.
