A superb pair of antique 19th-Century French provincial faience Quimper wall plates. Both plates are signed "HB Quimper". These charming plates are hand painted with a young Breton couple in traditional attire, the young man playing a horn, the young woman holding her baby with a sympathetic expression. They are bordered with a lovely floral garland and scalloped edges with a cobalt blue accent. Dimensions 9ʺW × 1ʺD × 9ʺH
