A charming piece of history for the dining table. The inside with an elegant, central floral spray and a floral border. the base decorated with blue lines and a bottom border of stylised flowers and trellis work. In original condition, the glaze loss and nibbles can be restored if required. Measures: length 7.5cm, 3" depth 6.5cm., 2 1/2" height 4cm., 1 1/2".

Exceptional 18th century Imari lobed dish. The centre painted with a vase of flowers and a bonsai tree. Surrounded by a double circle border and three large vignettes of a fenced garden with trees and flowers and stylised floral vignettes interposed. The reverse with four double scroll repeats.
