Finely hand-painted, this set of 28 decorative red glazed clay plates is inspired by the Sicilian legend of Colapesce, a half-man, half-fish creature who chose to save his beloved island by giving up his own life. Fish and sea creatures come to life in a dance of vibrant colors: yellow, blue, coral and a thousand shades that evoke the Mediterranean seabed. The meticulous attention to detail and freshness of design make this collection a masterful example of authentic Italian-made craftsmanship.
