About the Item

A rare set of four porcelain dinner plates with sea creature themed motif by Apilco, France early to mid twentieth century. This quartet elegantly boasts - as only the French can - a beautifully illustrated oceanic element along the edge and in the center of each plate. We see an artful lobster, a crab, an oyster, a clam, a crayfish, and several empty shells in soft tones of ice pink, azure, and butter yellow. Perfect for serving seafood in a sophisticated and stylish manner - évidemment. Pick up in central west Los Angeles or we do indeed ship worldwide. Please don’t forget to visit the rest of our curated decor by clicking « More From This Seller » - thank you! Each plate measures 9.25 inches across and 1.25 inches height.
