About the Item

A set of eight (8) Chamberlin's Worcester boldly-colored porcelain dessert or salad plates in the Japan Imari pattern #982. England, 1820. Signed with hand applied mark. A rare and fine example of English porcelain, this hand painted piece features flowers in signature Imari colors of red and cobalt blue. Please note that six of the dishes feature the identical pattern; the other two of the dishes have patterns that vary slightly, as shown in photos.
