About the Item
A Wonderful set of 10 Wedgwood Pearlware feather edge plates, Circa 1780.. Set of 10! Antique dishes with the feathered edge in blue. The mared pattern is highly collectible and painted in under-glaze blue pearlware. These plates are very hard to come by and are highly sought after by collectors. They are from the earliest time they started making these. The colors are fresh and they are in wonderful condition. Marked "Wedgwood" to the underside.
Provenance: Property of a Boston, Ma. estate.

Reference: Pearlware was first created by Josiah Wedgwood in the mid 18th century. Pearlware was then at its peak of popularity around 1780.
