About the Item
A large decorative ginger jar vase from the 1980s, crafted from brass cloisonné hand-painted in a chinoiserie style.
The jar features a domed lid, its surface has been painted over the original brass with a floral motif depicting exotic stylised flowers, characteristic of chinoiserie influences. The flowers are rendered in soft, pastel tones with leafy green accents, set against a darker background. The paint has aged at certain points giving it a vintage, slightly antique appeal.
The vase is a perfect decorative item for any interiors, either for a large coffee table, sideboard or a console table. Easy to style it next to ther pieces giving the interior a character.
