About the Item
A large decorative ginger jar vase from the 1980s, crafted from brass cloisonné hand-painted in a chinoiserie style.
The jar features a domed lid, its surface has been decorated over the original brass with dragonflies and bamboo motifs characteristic of chinoiserie influences which are rendered in soft, pastel tones set against a darker background. The paint has aged at certain points giving it a vintage, slightly antique appeal.
The vase is a perfect decorative item for any interiors, either for a large coffee table, sideboard or a console table. Easy to style it next to ther pieces giving the interior a character.
