21st Century Set of 6 Glass Tumblers, Hand-Crafted, Kanz Architetti
About the Item
The Lido tumbler, designed by architecture firm Kanz, features an inverted dome at the bottom that tends to resemble the roof of St Mark's Basilica in Venice. Not surprisingly, the glass has been cut at the bottom to create a certain 'oriental' movement. Byzantine architecture is indeed the source of inspiration for this latest marvellous artefact.
Each piece is handmade, without the use of moulds, by Venetian craftsmen. The glasses in the Lido collection can be used for both cold and hot liquids, and are oven- and microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe for everyday use.
