3 different Kaj Franck decanters, KF 503, KF 508

About the Item

Kaj Franck worked as the Arabia porcelain department and the Nuutajärvi glass department head designer in the 1940-1970s. It is said that he affected the Finnish every day used items more than any other designer. Although he designed a lot of day to day usable items, he was interested in blown glass items and art objects. The KF 503 decanters are mould-blown glass that came in several colors and here with a filigree stopper and a light blue stopper. These hold 50 cl. and were in production 1960-1964 only. The KF 508 is also made from mould-blown glass, clear, several colors here with a filigree stopper. Holds 50 cl. and in production 1962-1965 only. KF 503s measurements are 10x24 cm and KF 508 6x5x30 cm. All bottles are signed, refer to pictures. All bottles are highly sought after collectables.
