Kaj Frank, Vases KF 234 from 1956 and 1960, Nuutajärvi

About the Item

Kaj Frank (1911-1989), was a pioneer of sustainable development in the art glass area. He designed this tapered glass vase with oval rim and oval base model KF 234 and it was in producion during 1955-1964. The colors of these two vases are clear glass with settled blue and purple. Both of the vases are in good condition, some minor scratches and wear consistent with age and use. Manufactured by the Nuutajärvi-Notsjö glassworks in 1956 and 1960 and signed by Kaj Frank.
