Antique French Blue Enameled Glass Liquor Set, Decanter, Cordials and Tray

Antique liquor or aperitif service eight pieces, Napoleon III period, comprised of a decanter, six cordial glasses and original tray. All of old mouth blown glass in a stunning electric blue color enhanced with hand-painted enamel. Measures: 7"3 (18.5 cm) decanter. 1"9 (4.8 cm) glasses. 8"4 x 8"5 (21.3 cm) tray. Weight: 852 grams. The condition is very good for this age. No deposit on the bottom of the decanter or cordial glasses. There are no cracks or repairs on the decanter, glasses or tray. Just one chip on the lower cap (Photo n°6). Some loss of gilding tell tale signs of wear you would expect from a set of this age, but no loss of enamel. Overall with more than a 150 years of age, this set looks to have hardly been used. Enameled service, circa 1860 are not common, this fabulous set will grace your table and will delight your guests.
