Heading : Archibald Knox design for Liberty & Co Tudric pewter centrepiece Date : c1905. Marked Tubric 0318 with Rd 427517 Period : Edward VII Origin : W. H. Haseler, Birmingham, England. Glass by James Powell Decoration : Two whiplash cut out Celtic type motifs in the flanks of the bowl which meet domed handles. Size : Height 13.5cm diameter 27.2 cm Condition : A little pitting to the pewter. Some light scratches in the base of the glass bowl Restoration : None Weight : 3190 grams The property of a Lady Sussex collector. This is a rare polished pewter variant and is a magnificent adition to any dining table. An ideal punch bowl for the festive season.
