Art Deco Walther & Sohne Pierrot & Pierrette Peach Glass Tray, c1930

About the Item

A wonderful large and heavy art deco frosted peach glass tray depicting a Pierrot & Pierrette for a dressing table / trinket set. Made by German company Auguste Walther & Söhne in the 1930's and is featured in their 1934 product catalogue. Perfect condition no flaws to note. BIO August Walther founded his glassworks in 1888 at Ottendorf-Okrilla near Dresden, and called it August Walther & Sohne AG. They produced a wide range of table ware and ornamental glass, and they are best known for their art deco figurines and designs from the 1930s.
