Brockwitz Art Deco Uranium Green Glass 'Parakeet' Bird Vase

About the Item

A wonderful large and heavy (1.3 kilos unpacked) art deco green glass 'Parakeet' bird vase. Made by German company Brockwitz in the 1930's/40's, pattern number 6925, and is featured in their 1941 product catalogue. Made in uranium green glass, which glows brightly in UV light. Please note there is no flower frog insert. Size Measures approx 8 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter at widest point. Condition Excellent condition, just a couple of nicks to one side of the base section, shown in final pictures. No flower frog.
