Carlo Scarpa Bowl for Pauly & C.

About the Item

Wonderful, elegant center bowl in gold flecked milky white Aventurina glass with black pasta di vetro piping around the rim, sitting on a sculpted round foot. In 1933, around the time this piece was made, Pauly et Cie merged with MVM Cappellin, and acquired the catalog of glass works by Vittorio Zecchin and Carlo Scarpa. Retains the vintage Pauly label to underside.
