Cristallo Venezia CCC Murano Purple & Blue Sommerso Glass Bowl
About the Item
Here is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. Unmarked, but I have had a very similar shape in green & gold leaf, with their factory label that reads "Cristallo Venezia, CCC". In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Measures approx 3.75 inches tall by 7.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
