Unique engraved and cut goblet, Three cut medallions stained with amber lazure. The medallions depict three destinies, which symbolically represent the time of life that he holds in his hands. There is an old German inscription next to the fortune teller holding scissors - „Spinnet noch lange den Faden des Lebens“ - ("May you spinnet the thread of life for many years to come." ) - A very popular topic in the 19th century, Anton Heinrich Pfeiffer was one of the famous engravers who engraved these motifs. Comes from a private collection. Goblet in perfect condition without damage
