A cameo vase designed by Émile Gallé. Gallé himself was a keen artist, his glass is now considered to be a testament to the Art Nouveau movement and some of th finest ever made. Note the star before the signature indicating that this piece was produced between 1904 and 1906 as a tribute to Galle following his passing.
