George VI Commemorative Coronation Goblet

About the Item

This limited edition covered goblet commemorates the 1937 coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Crafted of glass with impressive lion mask handles, the cup features a number of engraved details, including the initials of the monarchs between heraldic supporters. The cover is equally intricate, engraved and inscribed with a spider's web and the historic Kings of Scotland. One of just 25 ever made, it is a lovely tribute to one of the most important, and controversial, coronations in the history of the British Empire. Measures: 7" wide x 4" deep x 12 1/2" high.
