Melvin Anderson Glass
From Aruba To St. Vincent, Amsterdam and Milan. Melvin Anderson has travelled the world for the
Sake of aesthetics. He started his career from Milan, Italy where he worked as a fabric designer
For fashion houses around the globe. His sense of colours and textures as well as his ability to capture the zeitgeist enticed customers from the U.S. to Japan. After many successful years Anderson accidentally moved on to glass as his material of choice,
upon a suggestion of a gallery owner to visit Murano, the glass-making archipelago close to Venice. Anderson’s designs exude his personality. Northern European clarity meets Italian warmth,
Traces of Africa mix with a longing for the Caribbean. Strong, rich colours and graphic lines
appeal to an international crowd of collectors, galleries and museums.
