Elegant Jean Luce Style Geometric Thick Oval Mirrored Tray, France 1950's

About the Item

France, 1950's A thick, modernist oval tray or vide-poche, in mirrored glass and frosted glass, with sand-blasted geometric motif in deep relief. In the purified Art Deco style of avant-garde glassware designer Jean Luce, a collaborator of Jean Puiforcat and a member of the Union des Artistes Modernes (UAM), led by Robert Mallet Stevens. Can also serve as a centerpiece or desk accessory. 17" L x 13" W x 1" D. Very good vintage condition; no chips.
