Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by Fratelli Scarpa. Still bears the original label, which is very worn, but I managed to find a match to this label online (contact me if you wish to see). In a stunning combination of red glass encased in blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
Size
Measures approx 10.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.
