Large Frosted Glass Bowl With Dragons by Josef Inwald for Barolac, 1930

About the Item

A fabulous art glass bowl from the Art Deco period, designed by Josef Inwald for Barolac. This bowl showcases sinuous curling dragons in the Chinese style in frosted art glass with a matte finish, high relief and intricate detail. Made in Czechoslovakia, circa 1930s. A wonderful decorative piece to celebrate the upcoming year of the dragon! In excellent condition with a very small, non noticeable scratch to the inside of the bowl: please see final close-up photo. Etched side in perfect condition with no scratches or chips.
