Victorian Bohemian Harrach Enamel Glass Potpurri Holder with Metal Fitments
By Harrach Glassworks
Located in Worcester Park, GB
Unusual enamelled and gilded Victorian Harrach Potpurri holder with original white metal feet and collar with detachable pierced lid and separate two part inner filter made c1890. With an opaque cream base, it is enamelled with green gilded bands and floral decoration. The container inner lid allows the contents to be closed off, partly closed off or left fully open, ensuring the fragrance is released into the room when only when desired. We do know that vast ranges of Legras was made by Harrach, probably under licence and possibly the majority of the glass we think of as Fratelli Tosso...
