Portieux Vallerysthal Blue Opaline '2' Cordial '2' Sherbert Glasses 1930's +1

About the Item

The blue opaline glass of Portieux Vallerysthal has been admired and collected for generations. This is a pair or Sherberts and a pair of wine or cordial glasses. Just perfect for a pleasant evening tete a tete. The third cordial has a tiny flake, but I will ship it along with, as it does look good on the shelf. If you are collecting this glassware, it's worth noting that hand blown glass is subject to subtle variations in coloration which can be seen when comparing the pall blue of the cordials with the slightly brighter blue of the Sherberts. Combinations of colorant in the batch and thickness of the glass are the nature of handicraft even today.
